In 1983 the team was called "Tormentor". Until 1984, two albums were released: "Blidzkrieg" and "End of The World". The Berlin recording studio "Noiz" became interested in good recordings, which offered to sign a contract with them. Without hesitation, the guys started collaborating with the studio and changed their name to Kreator. In the same year, the musicians recorded the song "Flag of the Hate", which became a hit, after which the group hit radio and television.
In 1986, the second album was released, entitled "Pleasure to Kill", which literally translates "The pleasure of killing". This release went down in the history of the thrash metal genre as one of the best in the history of this style. Kreator songs - carried loud and destructive lyrics that lured fans even more. Famous producer Jones Harris immediately became interested in the group, who promoted such well-known bands as "Hellowin", "Sodom", "Desrow", "Voivod" and "Tankard".
Having gained fame and popularity, the guys began to tour Germany and England. Returning home, they immediately received an offer to perform in Canada and the United States.
In 1987, the album "Nightmare Fact" was released, which was picked up by the American MTV. The guys went west and sold 100, 000 copies of their album, which is not too little for such a non-pop style.
